Please go through the following terms and conditions carefully. By accessing and using SriLankan Airlines Duty-Free Sales Pre-Order Facility (hereinafter referred to as “Facility”), you agree to be bound by our Legal Notice and the following Terms of Use.

SriLankan Airlines Limited (hereinafter referred to as “SriLankan Airlines”) may make improvements and/or changes or discontinue the products, services and prices described in this Facility and to these Terms of Use at anytime without notice. All such changes will be posted on this website and Facility. Continued use of this website and Facility following such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

This website and Facility has been compiled in good faith by SriLankan Airlines. No representation is made or warranty given of any kind whether express or implied as to the completeness or accuracy of the information that it contains, that it will be uninterrupted and error free or that any information is free from bugs, viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other harmful components, or on products and services offered.

This website and Facility may contain links to websites operated by third parties. Such links are provided for your reference only and your use of these sites may be subject to terms and conditions posted on them. SriLankan Airlines’ liability for the breach of any implied condition, which cannot be excluded, or it’s inability to provide products and services we have offered to provide through this Facility is limited to informing you, and at the sole option of SriLankan Airlines to-

• replace the products or
• reimburse you for sums paid for the products or services

You agree to indemnify, hold SriLankan Airlines harmless from and covenant not to sue SriLankan Airlines for any claims based on using this website or Facility or on purchasing of products or services through this Facility.

SriLankan Airlines provides this Facility solely to permit you to determine the availability of products and services offered on site and to transact business with SriLankan Airlines and for no other purpose. This Facility is for your personal, non commercial use. You agree that you will use the Facility only to make legitimate purchases for you or a person for whom you are authorized to act both legally and under these terms and conditions.

Products and services offered on this website and Facility may also be subject to terms and conditions associated with those products or materials, details of which may be obtained from SriLankan Airlines or the product distributors or manufactures as applicable.

The copyright in the material contained in this website and Facility including any SriLankan Airline’s trademarks, servicemarks and brands, and trademark, servicemark and brands of any products or materials offered on this service belong to SriLankan Airlines or its licensors or product owners. Images, trademarks, service marks, brands, trade names, trade dress, logos displayed on this website and Facility are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws, and may not be re-produced, appropriated or used in any manner without the written permission of their respective owners. The material may be used by you for your own personal non-commercial purposes.

All prices quoted on this Facility are Duty-Free and/or Tax Free prices. While SriLankan Airlines strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, pricing or typographical errors may occur. If an item is mis-priced, SriLankan Airlines may, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. You will be responsible for any taxes, levies, penalties or other charges that may be imposed on your purchases through this Facility at your destination.

SriLankan Airlines reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased per person, per order.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and dimensions of our products that appear on this website and facility. However, as the actual colours, visual and dimensions you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour, visual and dimensions will be accurate.

This Facility is offered only to passengers on SriLankan Airlines who are:

• over 18 years of age;
• holding a valid airline ticket for such travel with a confirmed seat for travel on a future date.

You may avail yourself of this Facility by using the Duty-Free Pre-Order Form. Please complete all mandatory fields in the Order Form. We will contact you, if we require any additional information.

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to verify the accuracy of any information provided.

A Duty-Free Pre-Order can be made in respect of travel from Colombo to any other destination 72 hours prior to expected time of departure of flights originating from Colombo and 120 hours prior to expected time of departure of flights originating outside Colombo.

You will be invoiced for your orders through this Facility, which have been accepted by us in United States Dollars (US$) by return e-mail. You are required to make payment to SriLankan Airlines as invoiced by cash, traveller’s cheques or credit card in United States Dollars or its equivalent on board the flight you have nominated for collection, in your Order Form.

Currencies accepted on board are, Australian Dollar, Bahrain Dinar, Canadian Dollar, European Euro, Hong Kong - China Dollar, Japanese Yen, Kuwait Dinar, Omani Riyal, Qatari Riyal, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Singapore Dollar, Swedish Krone, Swiss Franc, UAE Dirham, British Pound, and United States Dollar ,Chinese Yuan, Malaysian Ringgit and Thai Baht.

The following Credit Cards are accepted on board within the limits stated below.

Your purchases will be delivered to you in person on board the flight you have nominated for collection in your Order Form.

You may be required to furnish proof of your identity and produce any other relevant information/documents prior to delivery of the items ordered by you.

In the event you wish to cancel your order, you must give us notice 48 hours prior to expected time of departure of the chosen flight.

SriLankan Airlines may in some instances have to cancel your order. We will make our best endeavors to give you prior notice of non-acceptance or cancellation of your order.

Items purchased cannot be returned or refunded except as provided for herein.
