SriLankan Airlines statement regarding Swine Flu in Maldives



Colombo, March 17, 2017:  With the outbreak of the swine flu epidemic in the Maldives Islands and its Health Protection Agency’s (HPA) travel advice to the general public to restrict movements, SriLankan Airlines wishes to announce that the airline has activated Communicable Disease Procedures on its flights that are operating in and out of Male. Accordingly the crew will be wearing face masks and will provide a face mask to any passenger who requests one to wear during a flight. These proactive measures have been taken in the best interest of all our passengers and crew. SriLankan Airlines regrets any inconvenience caused to its passengers during this period.
