It is not mandatory to be an account holder to pay over the counter.
You can also use your online banking account to pay via online banking.
Read the “Before You Pay” section below, before making the payment.
For over the counter payments follow the below steps.
Please be mindful about the below in making the payment at the branch.
Visit one of our partnering banks/financial institutions/Payment Points.
Fill in the deposit forms as shown in the examples on the right side of this page.
Present the slip to the counter with the correct payment amount as mentioned in
your booking confirmation. (Ensure you pay before the expiry time)
Your eticket will be sent to the email address that was used in making the booking.
To pay via online banking follow the below steps.
To use this option you need to have a registered and active online banking account
with one of our partnering banks
Log on to your online banking account/your online banking mobile app
Select SriLankan Airlines as the beneficiary/ payee
Enter the exact amount payable, the "Booking Reservation Number" under Reference
Number and the paying party's name under 'Customer Name'
Alternatively you can also use your bank mobile apps to pay
Different banks may have different procedures
What is Booking Reservation Number(PNR)
The Booking Reference or the PNR can be found on your eticket. The circled 6 alpha-numeric
code is your booking reference number which is also known as the PNR.

After holding your booking on the website, please follow the below steps.
Visit any outlet of our partnering Exchange House and present the counter staff
with the confirmation for reservation which has the Booking Reservation Number (printed or an electronic medium such as your
smart device will do)
Once the counter staff validates the details of the booking on hold, pay at the
counter.
Your e- ticket will be sent to the email address that you submitted at the time
of the booking.
You can request a copy of the payment confirmation with the ticket itinerary from
the counter.
Before You Pay - What you need to know

You can put a booking on hold for 24 hours and pay with one of our payment partners.
The payment can be made in two ways.
Over the counter
Via internet banking
“Pay in Cash” is currently available for flights which fulfils the below criteria
Departing from Colombo, Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Departing after the next 72 hours from the time of booking
Operated fully by SriLankan Airlines
Note: When your booking has another airline seat(s)
If your travel itinerary has other airline sectors you have to pay within 8 hours of booking or risk the cancellation of the booking as SriLankan Airlines cannot hold other airline seats
SriLankan Airlines cannot hold other airline seats for 24 hours
If the other airline seats are not available by the time you pay you may incur additional
charges to obtain new seats on the other airline flight component and the original
fare will not be available
To avoid any inconvenience you can call our 24 Hour Contact Center just before you pay or reach us via the Chat option to check if the other airline seats are available at the time of booking.
Paying at a Bank of Ceylon Counter
Instructions to the passenger
Provide the “Confirmation for Reservation” to the bank teller along with the completed deposit slip as shown in the below image.
Inform the bank teller that this is a SriLankan.com “Pay Later” booking
If the teller needs further clarifications share the “Instructions to bank staff section” with the teller to correctly key in the payment details

Instructions to Bank Staff
Open Sri Lankan Airlines PNR (Passenger Name Record) validation interface. (Double
click on the “Sri Lankan Air” Icon available on teller machine desktop to open interface)
Once the SriLankan Air interface is opened enter the “Booking Reservation Number” provided by the customer on the field given in the system and press “Enter”
By verifying “Booking Reservation Number” with the Sri Lankan Air system the Total Amount to be paid by customer will be prompted on the screen
In T4S Current A/C Cash Deposit Panel enter the SRILANKAN AIRLINES LIMITED - AIR TAXI COLLECTION C/A No 72155848 (Cash Deposit Only to be accepted)
Copy the “Total Amount” displayed on the Interface by clicking on the “Copy” button and paste the same amount in the “Transaction Amount Field”
Using Shift+F2, copy the Transaction Amount to the “Cash In” field ,do not manually insert the Cash In Amount
Copy the “PNR” displayed in the Interface by clicking on the “Copy” button given and paste the same in the Description Line 01
Insert the Depositor’s Name (as given in the deposit slip) in the Description Line 02
Insert a dot (“.”) for Description Line 03
Click “OK” to complete Transaction
For bookings made in AED currency, the system will automatically prompt the correct LKR value to be collected. The teller should accept the amount given by the system
If any challenges are faced, the staff should 24 Hour Contact Center +94117 77 1979 (Within Sri Lanka : 1979) or contact the offshore banking division of Bank of Ceylon
Note: Currently we are experiencing instances where bank staff may process Pay Later booking payments as normal deposits.
This will result in your ticket not being issued and being canceled. Therefore, please inform the bank staff to use the SriLankan Airlines PNR validation Interface.
The SriLankan Airlines Icon is made available on their desktops.
Paying at a Sampath Bank Counter
Instructions to the passenger
Provide the “Confirmation for Reservation” to the bank teller along with the completed deposit slip as shown in the below image.
Inform the bank teller that this is a SriLankan.com “Pay Later” booking
If the teller needs further clarifications share the “Instructions to bank staff section” with the teller to correctly key in the payment details

The correct Booking Reservation number should be keyed in under the reference field (Bookings made in AED currency will automatically be converted to LKR through the system. The teller should accept the amount given by the system

Paying at a Hatton National Bank Counter
Instructions to the passenger
Provide the “Confirmation for Reservation” to the bank teller along with the completed deposit slip as shown in the below image.
Inform the bank teller that this is a SriLankan.com “Pay Later” booking
If the teller needs further clarifications share the “Instructions to bank staff section” with the teller to correctly key in the payment details
This is a fully automated service therefore all details must be entered correctly to receive the e- ticket conveniently
Instructions to Bank Staff
Select “SRILANKAN AIRLINES” link provided in HNB-CIP (Intranet) once selected Online PNR (Booking Reference) verification portal will be displayed to you
Enter the 6 character alphanumeric “Booking Reservation Number” correctly and click on “CHECK” button
If the PNR is valid, verify whether the amount displayed on screen matches with the amount entered by the customer in the deposit slip and on the “Confirmation for Reservation” (Bookings made in AED currency will automatically be converted to LKR through the system. The teller should accept the amount given by the system)
If all details are correct, the HNB teller should visit the “UTILPAY” section in the banking system and make the transaction to SriLankan Airlines account (Utility code: “SLABOOKNOW”)
When making the deposit, the HNB teller shall ensure that the 6 character alphanumeric PNR number is correctly entered to the system under the “Particulars” field and the exact amount of the ticket price is entered to the cent without rounding off the amount
If any challenges are faced, the staff should contact the 24 Hour Contact Center +94117 77 1979 (Within Sri Lanka : 1979) or call HNB E Banking Division
Note: Currently we are experiencing instances where bank staff may process Pay Later booking payments as normal deposits.
This will result in your ticket not being issued and being canceled. Therefore, please inform the bank staff to use the SriLankan Airlines PNR validation Interface.
The SriLankan Airlines Icon is made available on their desktops.
Paying at a Commercial Bank Counter
Currently over the counter payments are not facilitated by Commercial Bank. You can pay for your “Pay Later” bookings via Commercial Bank internet banking service.
Paying at a Cargills Food City
Instructions to the passenger
Provide the “Confirmation for Reservation” to the Cashier at the Cargills Food City outlet along with the completed deposit slip as shown in the below image
Inform the Cashier that this is a SriLankan.com “Pay Later” booking
If the Cargills Food City Cashier needs further clarification, share the “Instructions to Cargills Food City Cashiers” section below with the cashier to correctly key in the payment details
This is a fully automated service therefore all details must be entered correctly to receive the e- ticket
Instructions to Cargills Food City Cashiers
Press “F10 – Value Added Services” to load the SriLankan Airline Payment option
Go through the menu, Reservations and then Select “SriLankan Airlines”
Once the option is opened, enter the “Booking Reservation Number” provided by the customer. Then customer name will be appear on both (Point of Sale) POS screen and on Customer Display
Ask the customer to check the name against the “Confirmation for Reservation”
Ticket amount will be automatically display in the “Amount” field
Re – Enter the amount & Select the Payment Type as “ Cash”
Once you enter the received cash amount & press F7, You will receive the printed payment confirmation from the POS Printer. Note: Make sure to receive the full cash amount displayed in the “Amount Field”. you may receive “Booking Reservation Numbers” for bookings made for travel from UAE (United Arab Emirates ) and the amount will be in AED currency. However, the system will automatically convert the value in to Sri Lankan Rupees and display the exact amount you need to collect in Sri Lankan Rupees
Check the accuracy and hand over customer copy to the customer with your signature

Paying at a Al Ansari Exchange Counter
in the UAE
Instructions to the passenger
Present the “Confirmation for Reservation” to the branch staff and follow the guidance provided by them
Instructions to Al Ansari Staff
The staff should validate the “Booking Reservation Number” and the amount via the Al Ansari Exchange system
Bookings made in LKR currency will automatically be converted to AED through the system. The staff should accept the value given by the system)

Paying at SriLankan Airlines office in Kathmandu (KTM)
Instructions to the Passenger
Please visit our Kathmandu City Office in Naxal and present the “Confirmation for Reservation” to the branch staff and follow the guidelines provided by them.
