What is Manage My Booking?

‘Manage My Booking’ is a facility that allows you to be in charge of your own booking online.

With Manage a Booking, you can:

  • View, print out and e-mail your flight information
  • Change your booking date, time, cabin class, and fare class
  • Edit your frequent flyer number, contact details, and advance passenger information
  • Select your seat
  • Request services including special meals
  • Purchase excess baggage,
  • If you are interested in celebrating a special moment onboard, you can also order our onboard cake via ‘Manage My Booking’. Click here for more information

How can I make changes to my booking online?

Simply log on to “Manage My Booking” on www.srilankan.com enter your reference number and check if your booking is eligible for changes. If it is, a link to “Modify flight” will be displayed to you.

If your booking cannot be modified online, please contact your local SriLankan Airlines office.

Please note that based on the fare conditions associated with your ticket, there may be a fee involved when making changes to your booking.

If you fail to cancel and rebook your flight 5 hours prior to the scheduled departure of your booked flight as necessary, you will be charged the higher of no-show or change penalty alongside any fare differences involved. To avoid this, please cancel and rebook your flight ticket 5 hours prior to the departure of your flight as necessary.


Can I do online changes to a booking that I had not made through www.srilankan.com ?

If you have booked your flight through a local SriLankan Airlines office, the Global Call Centre or a travel agent, please contact the relevant personnel through whom you have purchased your ticket as such bookings cannot be changed through www.srilankan.com.


Can I make changes online for only one passenger in the booking?

No. Changes will have to be made for all the passengers in the booking.


What happens to services selected at Manage My Booking if I do a change online?

If you have selected a meal or a seat when you were booking your ticket online, please note that these selections will not be saved and you will be required to make these selections again for your new booking.

Please note that we will not be able to facilitate you with the onboard cake option if a change is made to the booking within 48 hours of departure. In such cases, the cost of the cake will not be refunded.
