  1. Duty Free Pre order items would be uplifted only if the following mandatory details are correct.
    • Flight Date
    • Flight Number
    • Booking Reference
    • Ticket Number
  2. In the event of incorrect information, 2000 miles will be retained and the balance miles will be re-credited to the account.
  3. Pre-orders can be made one week prior and up to 72hrs/120hrs to flight departure. Within this period for changes / cancellations e-mail your request to flysmiles@srilankan.com
    • Travel originating from Colombo – A duty Free Pre-order should be made 72 hours prior to departure
    • Travel originating from any other destination – A Duty Free Pre-order can be made 120hours prior to departure
  4. YoungSmiLes Members cannot redeem miles for alcohol and tobacco as per government regulations.
  5. Duty free pre-orders are only permitted on SriLankan Airlines operated 3/4 digit flight numbers and only for ticket numbers starting with 603.
  6. Duty Free purchases restricted to member for travel on SriLankan Airlines (Duty Free purchases are not allowed to nominee travel)
  7. We will endeavour to honour your pre-order at all times, however should the items not be available a full refund of the miles redeemed will be re-credited to your account.
  8. The e-receipt received for Duty Free pre order must be shown to the crew together with verification of either the FlySmiLes Membership Card or Passport. Items need to be checked and e-receipt signed and returned to crew.
  9. Pre-orders not collected onboard or purchase irregularities should be informed within 72hrs by e-mailing customer@srilankan.com , it is recommended that you retain the receipt of purchase.
  10. Pre-orders will be entertained strictly as per the Local Customs Regulations.
    • Maximum Duty Free allowance for Alcohol is 2 Bottles (not exceeding 2.5L) per member
    • Maximum Duty Free allowance for tobacco is 01 carton per member
    • Custom regulations of Sri Lanka does not permit any tobacco products being brought into the country (STRICT ADHERENCE)
  11. Actual size of the items may not necessarily be as illustrated.
  12. Every effort will be made to ensure the pre-order request to be made available on-board subject to space availability.
  13. Due to operational reasons Flights to and from Narita are not eligible for duty-free preorders
