Accrual

Miles earned when FlySmiLes members travel on the below Booking classes on American Airlines & its Affiliates

• Miles cannot be earned when travel is on a booking class other than the ones above.
• Miles can also be earned on Codeshare flights operated or marketed by 'American Airlines (AA) or  its affiliate' with another oneworld airline.
• If travelling on a American Airlines (AA) marketed codeshare flight, miles will be accrued as above.

Example of Final level of miles that can be accrued:-

• Distance of flight x 100% (if Member travels on Y Booking Class) on AA marketed flight

You will need to:-

Provide your membership number when making a reservation and/or present your membership card at check-in. Please retain all boarding passes and tickets until the miles have been credited to your account.

Claiming Missing Partner Miles

We request that you retain your tickets and boarding cards until such time your miles are credited to your account. If you do not receive the credits within six weeks kindly advise the FlySmiLes Service Centre on +94 19733 3333. Missing miles can only be claimed within 1 year (where applicable) of the original date of travel.
