Sustainable Christmas - 2017

‘Green Christmas’ is a new concept introduced to reduce wastage that typically occurs during Christmas season. People are encouraged to upcycle, recycle and reuse their decorations while bring out the imagination and creativity in them. Keeping its commitment to the protection of environment ‘SriLankan Green Unit’ introduce this novel concept to its employees and this was well absorbed by the staff. The staff manage to come up with many creative decorations and mange to showcase their out of the box thinking with the creations.

Environment unit would thank to all the divisions who took part in this small effort and for thinking ahead of themselves. Their contribution to the environment was highly appreciated and the unit is hopeful that many more divisions will join in this effort in coming years.
